Ordering Custom Engravings

Need help ordering custom engravings from Frame of Reference? I’ve written up this handy how-to guide to help you with preparing your materials and placing the order. I also explain what you can expect from me once you place the order. Let’s get started!

  1. Preparing your materials

High quality materials make for a high quality product! Make sure you have high resolution versions of your materials available for me. By doing this, the resulting engraving has more details compared to a low resolution photo. I explain this in more detail in my other how-to guide: “Difference between high and low-resolution images”.

The important things to keep in mind: make sure the details are sharp, in focus and well-lit. Here’s a quick example of the difference a high-resolution image can make. As you can see, certain details can’t be recognized as well when the image is of a low resolution.

  2. Choosing a product

Now that you have prepared your image, it’s time to choose a product! Simply go to the Custom Engravings page and choose one of the base products. I regularly add new products, so be sure to check in from time to time.

  3. Placing the order

  4. Working together

  5. Your product has arrived!

I hope this how-to guide will help you with ordering custom engravings from Frame of Reference!
